Summary: Watch the birds flying across the limitless sky. Glance at the fish swimming in the ocean without boundaries... Isn't freedom all about this? Watch the birds flying across the limitless sky. Glance at the fish swimming in the ocean without boundaries... Isn't freedom all about this? Only a caged bird can value the true sense of freedom. Pondering on that, I realized that mankind in its entirety is bound in some way or the other. Not necessarily a physical bondage but could be a physiological or a spiritual one too...

The question then arises, "Who would deliver the human race from these bondages?" The good news is that somebody has already done the job...

There was a woman who was bound with a spirit of infirmity for 18 years (Luke 13:10-17). She was suffering from a hunched back for 18 long years; probably long enough for her to still hold to any hope of recovery. But maybe somewhere in the corner of her heart, she still had that hope and faith that the Lord would heal her miraculously. After all, wasn't she the daughter of Abraham, the father of faith?

And that day did come. Jesus walked into the synagogue and delivered her from that bondage of Satan for 18 years. I can imagine tears of joy in her eyes even as she experienced the freedom of walking straight after a long wait.

What are you waiting for; now that you know who can set you free? Know for sure that Jesus sets you free not just from your physical bondage but your mental and spiritual bondage as well. In fact, any bondage you may name.

All you need to do is put in your faith in Him for a miracle and pray a simple prayer with all your heart to Jesus.

After all , don't we have a beautiful promise - John 8:36 - Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
