- Martin Pistorius - Trapped in his own body

- 10 yrs. – He could see & hear everything around him

- He could not talk nor control his body

- Could not tell people he understood them

- Dr. said Martin could not understand the world around him

- Thought he had a neurodegenerative disease

- Someone saw something more of Martin

- Martin started communicating through a text to speech computer

- He went to college, drives an adaptive car

- Even got married

- We are like Martin locked in sin

- Sinfulness destroys lasting hope

- This world gives no future promise

- It's prophecy gives only dismal destruction

- As in 2 Chron. 20:12 2 Chronicles 20:12 (AV)

.... we have no might ... neither know we what to do.....

- Stop insisting you know what is right

- This is in rebellion to the Word

- Repentance is not part of our life

Isaiah 55:1–3 (AV)

1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy

2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

- Catch the feeling of Hagar & Ishmael

- Gen. 21:9-20

- Note it's the heart not the flesh which needs work
