Let's talk about something we all know: teamwork. Whether it's in sports, a band, or a group project, we know that when we work together, we can achieve great things. But what about when we're not on the field or in the classroom? What about when we're just hanging out, living life? That's where unity comes in.
Imagine a bundle of sticks. If you try to break one stick, it's pretty easy, right? But try breaking a bundle of sticks. It's a lot harder. That's because there's strength in unity. When we stick together, we're stronger.
So, what do we all have in common? We believe in Jesus, we want to share His love, and we have hope for the future. When we hang out together, with Jesus in our hearts, He's right there with us. That's pretty cool, right?
That's where unity comes in.
But what happens when we don't agree? Maybe you've had a fight with a friend, or you're not seeing eye-to-eye with someone at church. It's important to say sorry and forgive each other. If you're not happy at church, talk about it, ask questions, and if you need to, find a new place where you feel comfortable. But always try to live in peace with everyone.
Unity is super important. We're called to be humble, patient, and loving, keeping the peace and unity. We're all part of one big team, with one hope, one faith, and one God.
Church might seem boring sometimes, but being together is so important. Being alone can make us feel sad or anxious, but being with others brings joy and friendship. So, let's make an effort to stick together, to forgive, to love, and to invite others to join our team.
God, help us to stick together and to find joy in being with others. Help us to forgive, to love, and to share your good news. Thank you for our youth leaders who guide us and show us your love. Amen.
