VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Every house is built and furnished by someone

"For [of course] every house is built and furnished by someone,"

Built means to built, obtain children, make, repair, set up.

Example of Builders in the Old Testament:

1. Noah

Genesis 8:20 (Amplified Bible)

8:20 And Noah built an altar to the Lord and took of every clean [four-footed] animal and of every clean fowl or bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

2. Abram

Genesis 12:7 (Amplified Bible)

12:7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your posterity. So Abram built an altar there to the Lord, Who had appeared to him.

3. Moses

Exodus 24:4 (Amplified Bible)

24:4 Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. He rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve pillars representing Israel’s twelve tribes.

4. King Solomon

1 Kings 8:27 (Amplified Bible)

8:27 But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, the heavens and heaven of heavens [in its most extended compass] cannot contain You; how much less this house that I have built?

Example of Builder in the New Testament:

1. JESUS CHRIST

Hebrews 3:3 (Amplified Bible)

3:3 Yet Jesus has been considered worthy of much greater honor and glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house [itself].

Majority of "builders" in the Bible pertains to the altar of the LORD, not to things like houses, tents or even temple and temple walls.

B. GOD is both Builder and Furnisher of all things

"but the Builder of all things and the Furnisher [of the entire equipment of all things] is God."

GOD is not just only the Builder but the Creator of all things. GOD creates all things that we can see and invisible thru JESUS.

Hebrews 3:3 (Amplified Bible)

3:3 Yet Jesus has been considered worthy of much greater honor and glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house [itself].

Colossians 1:16 (Amplified Bible)

1:16 For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.
