Summary: God is faithful to us, so we must also do our part in aiming the ultimate good, which is to manifest God’s glory.

Sometimes, we can’t comprehend God’s promises in the literal sense, so we should be very careful with our finite human interpretation. The scope of God’s Word is indeed beyond our understanding, and so we must consider that His fulfillment is much broader and much grander than what we could imagine.

NUMBERS 23:19 TELLS US:

“God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”

God gives us promises that are very close to our own story. We just have to wait because He will fulfill all His promises no matter what. He may leave us hanging, but remember that he has a perfect plan for all of us.

The primary goal of God’s perfect plan is to demonstrate the glory of God. Secondary to it is to fulfill the good of those who love Him.

ROMANS 8:28 REMINDS US:

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

God is faithful to us, so we must also do our part in aiming the ultimate good, which is to manifest God’s glory. Love those who hate you. Take a leap of faith and do something good today.
