so I replied by sending this message to them: “I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?”

Nehemiah 6:15-16 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

So on October 2 the wall was finished—just fifty-two days after we had begun.

When our enemies and the surrounding nations heard about it, they were frightened and humiliated. They realized this work had been done with the help of our God.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Forgiving GOD

"But you are a God of forgiveness"

Acts 10:43 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.”

Acts 13:38 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

“Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins.

Ephesians 1:7 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

Colossians 1:14 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

1. Forgave it all, all He can offer to us is His Great Love not His wrath.

John 3:16 (Amplified Bible)

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

B. Gracious GOD

"gracious"

2 Peter 1:2 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.

2 Peter 3:18 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.

Hebrews 4:16 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

1. The LORD JESUS CHRIST is full of all grace and truth not His mother, Mary, not anyone but the LORD JESUS CHRIST alone is full of all grace.

John 1:14 (Amplified Bible)

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

John 1:17 (Amplified Bible)

For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:6 (Amplified Bible)

Which has come to you. Indeed, in the whole world [that Gospel] is bearing fruit and still is growing [by its own inherent power], even as it has done among yourselves ever since the day you first heard and came to know and understand the grace of God in truth. [You came to know the grace or undeserved favor of God in reality, deeply and clearly and thoroughly, becoming accurately and intimately acquainted with it.]

C. Compassionate GOD

"and merciful"

2 Corinthians 1:3 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.

James 5:11 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
