This sermon reassures us that God guides the steps of the righteous and will never abandon us. He will not lead us astray or forsake us.

Title: "God's Faithfulness: He Will Never Leave Us"

Introduction:

In this sermon, we find comfort in the assurance that God orders the steps of a good person and delights in their ways. Even when we stumble, God upholds us with His hand. The psalmist testifies that throughout his life, he has never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread. God is merciful, blesses the righteous, and preserves them forever. We are reminded to depart from evil, do good, and dwell with the Lord forever, for He loves justice and never forsakes His saints.

Body:

The late Rev. James Cleveland, known as the Godfather of Gospel Music, wrote a song called "I Don't Believe He Brought Me This Far to Leave Me." It was inspired by the testimony of an elderly woman who had been running for Jesus for over fifty years. She declared that she didn't feel tired because she had come too far from where she started. She believed that God had brought her this far and would not abandon her.

We can all learn from this woman's faith. As we reflect on our own lives, we may feel like God has turned His face away from us or abandoned us. But we must remember that God has promised in Hebrews 13:5, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

Many of us have been running for the Lord for a long time and have faced numerous challenges along the way. We have experienced difficult situations and life-threatening storms. Yet, we can look back and see how far God has brought us. We have overcome obstacles and achieved things we never thought possible.

We must hold on to the belief that God did not bring us this far just to leave us. When we face seemingly impossible situations, we should trust that God will make a way for us. Just as He led the children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage and through the Red Sea, He will guide us through our own Red Sea experiences.

There will be times when we feel trapped, surrounded by mountains of difficulty or engulfed by the sea of tribulation. But we must remember that God is with us. He will not forsake us. He will help us navigate through the storms of life and provide a way of escape when we face temptation.

Even when we find ourselves in the midst of the fire, we can trust that God will be there with us. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who were thrown into the fiery furnace but emerged unharmed, God will deliver us from the flames. He will not leave us to be consumed by the trials and afflictions we face.

When we feel like giving up or turning back, we must hold on to our faith. We may encounter spiritual assaults or find ourselves in the valley of despair, but God will not abandon us. He will be our comforter and deliverer. We can trust in His love and His promise to never leave nor forsake us.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, we can find solace in the faithfulness of God. He has brought us this far and will continue to walk with us through every trial and tribulation. We can rest assured that nothing can separate us from His love. Even in the darkest moments, He is there, guiding and protecting us.

Let us hold on to the belief that God will never leave us nor forsake us. We can face each day with confidence, knowing that He is with us every step of the way. May we always remember that God's faithfulness endures forever, and He will never abandon His children.
