VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. With a long life

"I will reward them with a long life"

Psalms 21:4 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

He asked you to preserve his life, and you granted his request. The days of his life stretch on forever.

Proverbs 22:4 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life.

Genesis 25:8 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

and he died at a ripe old age, having lived a long and satisfying life. He breathed his last and joined his ancestors in death.

Genesis 6:3 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.”

1. GOD's will for us is to have a long, satisfying life of 120 years old, that's our lifespan intended by GOD. It's a reward of the Creator to His creatures, a long life, while the heathen of this world have wealth, riches and fame but can't enjoy it because they are either sickly and don't have a healthy lifestyle to begin with, there's no prosperity in there.

B. Gives us His salvation

"and give them my salvation"

Psalms 16:11 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

Luke 2:30 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

I have seen your salvation,

Luke 3:6 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

And then all people will see the salvation sent from God.’”

Isaiah 40:3-5 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting, “Clear the way through the wilderness for the Lord! Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God!

Fill in the valleys, and level the mountains and hills. Straighten the curves, and smooth out the rough places.

Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken!”

1. The LORD JESUS CHRIST is our Salvation and our Life, apart from Him we are nothing.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Psalms 34:8 (Amplified Bible)

O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.
