God Is an Expert on Man! Your influencer

Demarquis Lamar Johnson

“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

Introduction

One day while flipping through the tv stations. I realized on nearly every channel, there is a talk show or someone being interviewed in reference to being an expert on some particular subject. Young people yall experience the same thing, every tik tok video, all the Instagram reels, someone is an influencer giving expert advise.Well observing these experts and listening to them impart their wisdom or revelations made me think of God. The Expert.

When we are broken or have trouble in a particular area, why look to other people for answers when we know God is our Expert. He's the manufacturer of our being. He specializes in great customer service. These people online might have 100k followers but Jesus made all the influencers and their followers. He invented following!

Going to these other people is crazy.! You can't call Amazon if you have an issue with a Temu order right? So let's go to our source.

Seriously though imagine how God feels when we seek advice elsewhere. When we turn to the experts. Imagine for a minute you create this amazing product or come up with this amazing idea. It goes viral online. People can't stop talking about it. However, all the post and comments are aimed at someone else and their is no mention of you, the creator. I mean no mention of you at all. Its so bad your not on any comment thread and your still at 88 followers. That would be bad right?

Now Imagine how God feels about you going to others for advice on his creation. The greatest creation of all-you. Enter the chat! Send God a comment. Seek his help.

I. God Is in the Business of Fixing

One of the biggest issue facing young people in today's society is depression. Everyone is dealing with huge emotions and lacking peace. I'm sure their are an insane amount of reels and tik toks about peace, but I assure you none of them can touch God's word on peace:

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

God promises you peace simply by keeping your mind on him. I know you got reels to watch and series on Netflix to binge. You enjoy these more than anything in life. But just maybe when your down and those other things aren't bringing you peace put your mind on God. Let him be the influencer. Subscribe!

Remember this verse: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). I repeat, before going to find an expert or an influencer to solve your problem, seek God.

Jeremiah 32:27 says, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?” Think about what God is saying here. He is God of all creation. Do you think there is something in your life too hard for Him to fix? The answer is no. The next time you are faced with one of life’s tough issues, imagine God sending you a DM asking you: “Is there anything to hard for Me?” Please don’t tell Him yes or doubt Him. If you do, know that your lack of faith will be the reason He doesn’t fix your issue. Even if you have some doubt, keep telling yourself there is nothing to hard for God. Tell yourself until it is implanted in your mind, and you find yourself repeating it as a song stuck in your head on repeat with no airpods in your ear. A song with a billion streams!

II. God Can Fix Your Problems Through You

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abudantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20), meaning He is able to fix things we cannot imagine Him fixing; and He is able to work through us to achieve the miraculous. So the answer to your problems are not on insta or tik tok. God Can use influencers, but probably not the ones on your algorithm. The answer is not in your phone. Maybe the Bible app of course, but do you have it downloaded? The answer is going to come through your time with God in his word and prayer.

II. Remember His Resume and What He Already Has Done

“The Lord hath done great things for us, of which we are glad” (Psalms 126:3). When faced with trials and mountains that appear unmoveable, think back to what God already has done for you. If he brought Lazerous back from the dead (John 11), know that He can bring your troubled son or daughter back to the right state of mind. Know that if He can make a blind man see (Luke 9), He certainly can open the eyes of your lost family members. Encourage yourself by remembering His resume and what He already has done. If you can’t recall what He has done in your life, pick up the Bible—the biography of what He has done—and still is able to do.
