Summary: Have you ever felt ignored and neglected by your spouse years together?

Have you ever felt he has taken advantage of you or taken you for granted? Maybe you’ve been overlooked, dismissed, or forgotten. It’s a painful and isolating experience. But today, I want to remind you that God sees you, and He has a plan to send a good man into your life.

I want to address this sensitive topic. To the wives who have been neglected, abandoned, unloved, and uncared for, I see you. I acknowledge your pain and your struggles from unloving evil spouses. But I come with a message of hope and redemption.

Isaiah 54:5-7 says, "For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name... The Lord has called you back as if you were a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit... For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will gather you."

God sees your tears, your heartache, and your longing for love and connection. And when your earthly husband fails to love and care for you as he should, God sends a different kind of husband – a spiritual one.

Ephesians 5:25-33 tells us that Christ loves the church as a husband loves his wife. He gave himself up for her, nourishes and cherishes her, and presents her to himself in splendor. This is the love and care that God desires for every wife.

When your earthly husband ignores, abuses, or mistreats you, God sends a man who cares for his wife as Christ cares for the church. This man may be a mentor, a friend, a pastor, or even a future husband. Whoever he is, he will love and cherish you as God intends.

Remember, your worth and value come from God, not from your husband's actions. You are loved, you are seen, and you are cherished. Don't give up hope! God's redemption is near.

In Psalm 27:10, David writes, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." When human relationships fail us, God is our rock, our refuge, and our comfort.

Isaiah 54:6-7 says, "The Lord will call you back as if you were a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit... For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will gather you." God's love is steadfast, even when human love fails.

In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus reminds us that not one sparrow falls to the ground outside of our Father's care. We are worth more than many sparrows! God sees our struggles, and He sends help.

That help often comes in the form of a good man – a godly husband, father, friend, or mentor. Someone who will stand in the gap, offer support, and remind you of your worth.

Don't give up hope! When you feel ignored and neglected by man, remember that God sends a good man to restore, redeem, and love you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust in His goodness.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your unwavering love and care. Send good men into our lives to encourage, support, and love us as Christ loved the church. May we rest in your goodness and trust in your plans. Amen.
