-Public prayers are opposed if they are made in “Jesus’ Name”.

A. God's Name is Holy

1. David wrote, in the book of Psalms:

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20:7)

"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." (Psa.103:1)

2. Some of the Names ascribed to God:

Elohim - Almighty God, Creator

Jehovah- Shammah - Is there with us.

Immanuel - God with us.

Jesus - Joshua, Yeshua = Lord who is salvation

B. We Must Never Misuse God's Name

By the way, what does it mean?"

"It means honored ... holy ... wonderful."

"Hey, that makes sense. I never thought about what ‘hallowed' meant before...”
