Summary: God speaks to us through the bible messages, which were written more than 2000 years ago… as if he’s living with us today.... this is another word from God to us all.

Revelations 3:1 and to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things, which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 4 You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

Pray…. Father we thank you for today, we ask that you send your word to the thirsty and to the good soil. Keep us in your name, come and break through every heart and soul as we are expecting your presence. Speak to us in Jesus name. Amen

God speaks to us through the bible messages, which were written more than 2000 years ago… as if he’s living with us today. He addresses our issues; addresses our struggles, and addictions directly… you would think: how is it that he knows everything about me, when did I ever open my heart to him?

Yes, he knows and feels your pain, your heartbreak, your agony, and will speak to it… His words that will comfort you and replace the darkness with light, sadness with joy and heaviness with peace.

He wants to re-ignite your fire, restore what’s been stolen, and polish your blessed hope. Our king and lord Jesus, in his pain, and agony… and while taking his last breathe… found some time to listen to the thief hanged next to him, “he wants to tell you…son, I’m never busy for you”… he gave him a word which changed his pain to joy, his misery to happiness and something to hope for! Jesus redirected the thief’s life from hell to heaven…today you will be with me in paradise.

Never under-rate or de-value God’s promises or his words for you! When God speaks to you, you will experience great changes and you’ll never forget his words.

You are a real person who’s in real need, when you cry out to God; he sees your cry and decides to intervene…through preaching that he puts in my heart to give you hope, assurance that he is in charge and sovereign. And remind you that he is watching over you, he is walking with you in this crises or trouble, and you are not forgotten.

John who wrote this letter was described in the bible John 21:20 as the disciple whom Jesus loved, also had leaned on Jesus’ breast at the supper. John had a very close relationship with Jesus.

He witnessed the saviour’s love to Lazarus and the family when he raised him from death, he witnessed his compassion to 5000 plus people when he fed them with 2 fish and 5 breads, he witnessed blinds receiving their eye sites, he witnessed Jesus and peter walking on water, and he witnessed Jesus transfiguration too…this man was hungry and thirsty for Jesus.

He was the only disciple that didn’t get killed but died a normal death. Yes he was persecuted and sent to exile to an island but wasn’t killed. He managed to keep his prayer, vision, purpose, relationship and faith in the hard times…I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day!

Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things, which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things, which are written in it; for the time is near.

7Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him even so, Amen.

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, “says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
