Summary: Look at our Church life see how much we Love him.

HOW MUCH DO WE LOVE OUR LORD

John 2: 23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Jesus stated his ministry on earth, he turned water to wine in Cana he went back to Capernaum and from there to Jerusalem for the Passover feast he cat the money changers out of the Temple.

Some of in authority wanted to question him about his authority.

He knew them following to see what they could gain.

As church members do we love him enough?

1. To study and read his word.

Psalms 119:

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The best reading you can find is in his word.

(1) It tells us all we need to know.

His love

His grace

His son

Gods Heaven

The devils hell

(2) To attend his house.

Hebrews 10: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

In his house Christians are fed.

In his house the Gospel is preached.

In his house songs of praise are song.

In his house testimonies are given.

God meet his people here.’

(3) To love his people.

1st John 4:

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Proverbs 8:13 |

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

In sickness love them

In sorrow love them

In suffering love them

In sin love them hate their ways.

(4) To seek his blessings.

Ephesians 5: 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

People sing o how I love Jesus.

Do we really love him.

We must be filled with the spirit

We must honor him.

Seek him in our lives.

Seek his blessings.

(5) When we get saved

2nd Corinthians 6: 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Walk the walk

Talk the talk

(6) Honor his son.

Revelation 4: 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Honor him by trusting him

Honor him by testifying of him

This should be a great privilege for us.

Look at our selves see if we really love him.
