James 1:1-18; 5:7-12

“HOW TO” SERIES IN JAMES #1

Truth: The Christian life-view stands countercultural. Problems move us to God who gives us His grace to benefit from our faith-trials. We develop the perseverance and patience, the faith-life, the quality of life that comes out of a tested life.

React Not to Problems

Avoid It

Reject It

Complain About It

Blame Other People

Blame God or Satan

Enjoy It

Endure It

Respond to Problems

Problems are intended by God to move us to him in complete surrender. Trials are the God-given context for developing single-mindedness.

Problems ought to motivate us to dependent prayer

Problems lead us to God to seek for His wisdom.

Rebuilt/Rewarded by God

The believer’s reward is a crown of life. This crown stands for victory and rulership.

The believer is pronounced as blessed.
