Hundredfold return!

Genesis 47:1 “Then Joseph went in and told Pharaoh, and said, "My father and my brothers and their flocks and their herds and all that they have, have come out of the land of Canaan; and behold, they are in the land of Goshen."

When you patiently wait for God, obey Him, please Him in all your ways, endure hardships, persevere in the midst of hardship without quitting, when you believe in the dark and hope in His goodness and mercy then let me tell you, God will do amazing things that you just cannot comprehend. Clap your hands for God! Apostle Paul said, what God has prepared for you ““No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 . Amen.

In the above scripture, after several years (around 22 years), God brought back the entire family of Joseph along with their flocks and their herds also back to him. They walk into the country where Joseph was the Commander and Joseph settled them in Goshen, God will bring back your loved ones whom you had lost back to you! Just believe that today! God will bring back your husband from the clutches of the woman whom he is involved with, God will bring back good workers who left you, He will bring back your church members, friends, business partners, God will bring healing back to your body and much more. The money, property and the loss you suffered will be reversed in the name of Jesus! Say Amen. Mental illness will be cured and God will give wisdom, God will remove the curses and make up for all the loss, read: Joel 2:25 "Then I will make up to you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you.” Glory to Jesus!

I happened to meditate about the locusts mentioned in the Bible recently and I just wondered how an insect that is just three inches long, weighting two grams can harm a nation! Oh, these fellows are not loners but they come swarming in numerous numbers; they ravish the green plants, fruits, vegetables and they can eat about two grams of food (equal to their total weight) on a single day. Ravenous insects I should say!

In the first chapter of the book of Joel in the Bible, the great army of locusts was sent against the people because they disobeyed God. How could a Christian ever think that he would cheat, steal, lie, lust, and still feel he would not be punished? A three inch insect called Locust is enough to destroy our life when we do not have the covering of God’s Hands over our life! Caveat! Porn addiction starts with just a casual or accidental exposure to obscenity, you have a choice to flee or get glued to it! Recently in our city Hyderabad, teenaged girls as young as twelve and thirteen were found involved in pornography and it did not stop there, they had sent nude pics of themselves to strangers and were also involved in vulgar chatting with them, the strangers later used it to blackmail them. The police stated, ‘we were shocked to see such stuff from such young girls!’ Easy access to internet, lust and parent’s ignorance and carelessness are the reasons for such disasters! Yes, the locusts can eat away your life! Remember, they are just 3 inches long; yet, they can destroy you!

The present plague is also because of the disobedience of the people, Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the greatest challenge we have faced since World War Two. But the pandemic is much more than a health crisis, it's also an unparalleled socio-economic crisis. Every day, people are losing jobs and income, with no way of knowing when normality will return. besides the loss and the colossal death rate, people have lost their leaps and jumps. But there is good news in the midst of this ash-heap, life might look hopeless when all the swarming locust , creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust, the great army that had destroyed the blessings (Joel 1:25); however, God can reverse it and bring back healing and joy, if you only repent and obey Him. Believe!

Job lost everything and looked like a scary skeleton but God gave double for all the loss, read: Job 42: 10"The LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold.” Jesus told His disciples: Mark 10:29, 30 “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for My sake and for the gospel 30will fail to receive a hundredfold in the present age…..and to receive eternal life in the age to come. “ God bless you!
