Summary: We are given the Finisher's Anointing to complete all the missions, task and life journeys on earth, because we are children of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost: Author and Finishers of our faith.

SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 12:1-2 New King James Version

12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and [b]finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

INTRODUCTION:

Death is not a distinguishing mark of being finished in the Kingdom of God. The death of our Lord was not the distinguished mark of His completed work of the Kingdom of God, but a completed work of the mission upon the earth’s realm.

As we read these scriptures here in Hebrew we see the authentic work of the Lord as one that pens from the heart of the Father and brings into being the beginning of the mission from the heavenly realm to the ending of our faith. When we speak of the ending of a mission we speak about the finisher, the mission and the many failures and success that made the mission worth stepping into and finishing.

There is a finisher’s branding on a mission, a project, a product or a journey. The brand speaks about the volume of the thoughts in the heart, the cost that was paid, the work that was produced, the doors that was locked and the doors that was opened and effectual. This is the communication of the finisher. The Finisher speaks of the inward drive of confidence to cross the finishing mark and there is commendation for the finisher as he crosses over.

The Apostle Paul made a clear declaration of the intent of his heart and mind to finish the ministry afforded to him through Christ Jesus by perfecting all that he has done on the earth in living the example of Christ’s life, preaching Christ, operating in the Holy Ghost and Power and transferring the mantle of the Lord that was upon him to the churches that he planted throughout the nations of the earth.

1. THE COMMUNICATION OF THE FINISHER:

Hebrew 12:2 2 looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and [b]finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

-“The strength to Finish comes from first having the courage to start.”

-The Father’s CONVERSATION of the Son began by His word

John 1:14 KJV

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

-The Father always started by the word. Man was conceived by the word Genesis 1:26. The Father always communicated the Finished work within the Godhead.

-Jesus is the Author (the originator, creator). He is also the Finisher, one who finishes; one who completely performs. · 2. One who puts an end to · 3. One who completes or perfects.

The word Finisher comes from the Greek word Teleiotes (G5051) from the Strong’s concordance meaning:

1. A perfector. 2. One who has in his own person raised faith to its perfection and so set before us the highest example of faith.

- We first communicate within our hearts the faith or the hope to finish. There is a pressing in the heart to move forward through the terrain of life to finish the course that is set before us.

- THE COMMUNICATION TRAITS OF A FINISHER :

Staying the course, keeping the faith and building the Kingdom of God, sheltering the storm, wielding the sword of prayer against the enemy, contending for our promises, living in the example of Christ and keeping a steady pace being un-moveable and always abounding in the work of the Lord. These traits are communicable consistently to the Father for His grace to finish all that we are called to put our hands to.

-It takes persistence and self encouragement like King David to walk consistently in the Kingdom of God even in the face of Adversity. Finishers have the ability to communicating to oneself the courage to pursue and conquer.

-Men that communicated from the heart to the spirit of God and Finished the Mission on earth:

-Abraham – the Mission: to give up his only son as a sacrifice that he contended for, for many years, obedient unto death (a Finisher like the Father).

-Noah- The Mission: to save a heritage to the Lord from the face of the earth through the building of the Ark. (a Finisher like the Father) Through Christ many are saved.
