It's important to keep our light shining for Christ, even when we face challenges. This can be achieved through community, stepping out of our comfort zone, and allowing the Holy Spirit to convict us.

Youth Sermon: Keep the Light Burning

Get Your Squad

First off, we can't do life alone. We need our squad, our friends, our community. Remember when the Holy Spirit showed up at Pentecost? All the believers were hanging out together, and boom! The Holy Spirit showed up big time. When we've got a crew that loves us and loves God, people notice.

When we've got a crew that loves us and loves God, people notice.

Step Out

Sometimes, we've got to step out of our comfort zone to really feel God's presence. Like when Peter walked on water. He took a risk, stepped out of the boat, and for a moment, he was walking on water! Sometimes, we've got to take risks, meet new people, or try new things. But when we trust God in those moments, our faith gets stronger.

Listen Up

The Holy Spirit is like our spiritual GPS. He helps us know when we're messing up and guides us to do what's right. When we feel that nudge, it's not always comfortable, but it's a chance to grow. We've got to listen to that guidance and make changes. That's how we keep our light shining and stay on track with God.

Life's a rollercoaster

Life's a rollercoaster, right? We can't do it alone. We need our friends, God, and the Holy Spirit. Sticking with it and keeping our faith strong is key. If you've struggled with this, you're not alone. But today, decide to follow Jesus and give Him your all. He's ready for you. Let's do this together, shining for Jesus in everything we do.
