Summary: We live in dark seasons... but we can have hope out of this world. God's light is brighter than the darkness of the enemy. You have great potential and open opportunities.

LAST DAY POTENTIAL… OPEN THE DOOR TO OPPORTUNITY

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com ( I do this in two parts.)

I had a friend from Europe visit us. One of our light bulbs burned out? He was so amazed with the bulb, he held it in his hand. He explained to me that the same light bulb that was in their front room at their house, was the same bulb that was there before he was born. Well, not in the USA. I bought a case of light bulbs that was guaranteed for ten years. In the first month 4 quit working. I went back to Lowes. There was no replacement for dark bulbs? Sometimes our bulbs have to be replaced?

THOMAS AQUINAS said: To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To the one without faith, no explanation is acceptable.

Hatred can never drive out hate only love can! Darkness can never drive out darkness, only light can!

NO SADDER WORDS OF PEN OR TONGUE THAN THE WORDS WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN!

Will we consider our strengths, our weaknesses, our potential and the threats that can help or hinder our progress? Do we ever make plans for an analysts of where we are and how did I get here? Then we should weigh where do I want to be?

SEEMS SAMSON KNEW HIS GOD GIVEN STRENGTHS BUT HE NEVER HAD A DIAGNOSIS OF HIS WEAKNESSES… Samson seems to never listen to good advice. Samson refused to see the threats TO HIS POTENTIAL.

Judges 16:19 And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. 20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him. 21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

*OPPORTUNITY: a situation for you to do something you desired to do…favorable external or internal factors, a good chance for advancement or progress, favorable conditions, to reach for a goal, chance of success,

Do we make the best of the opportunities that we have? Do we look forward for greater opportunities?

*POTENTIAL: possibility, having the capacity to become or develop, latent, be more useful,

REMEMBER THE MASTER THAT HAD A GREAT BANQUET AND HE INVITED MANY… COME IT IS NOW READY. 3 DIFFERENT SETS OF PEOPLE BEGAN MAKING EXCUSES… WITH ONE CONSENT THEY EXCUSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE WITH THE MASTER… In the last days we need to make the best use we can with the time we have.

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

THE 5 FOOLISH VIRGINS MISSED THEIR OPPORTUNITY… This is a great danger lurking behind the scenes of the last days.

THE MODERN TV AND RADIO PREACHERS HAVE A TENDENCY TO TEACH WE FIND OPPORTUNITIES IN MATERIALISM AND PROSPERITY. COULD BE? MAY NOT?

A person full of faith finds opportunities in problems… A person of doubt will find problems in opportunities.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

WOULD WE ORDER A TROUBLE FREE, PROBLEM FREE, PAIN FREE LIFE STYLE IF WE COULD? WE MIGHT FIND OUR OPPORTUNITIES DURING BRIGHT SUNNY DAY? Maybe not? WE COULD EXPECT: SMOOTH, WORRY FREE, PLENTY OF MONEY, LOVE AND PEACEFUL TIMES?

Since the fall of Adam and Eve the reality of daily life is not what we would order? Heart ache and disappointment are part of daily living.

Why does the car get dirty? Why will cars break down? How about washing machines breaking down? WHY?

JOB CAME TO AN HONEST OBSERVATION ABOUT LIFE.

Job 14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

Job 14:1 (MSG) "We're all adrift in the same boat: too few days, too many troubles.

IN THE END WE HAVE TOO FEW DAYS AND SO MANY PROBLEMS!!!

IF WE ARE WALKING IN THE LAST DAYS WE MUST SOMEWHERE IN LIFE LEARN PROBLEMS, TROUBLES, CONFLICTS, PAIN AND HEARTACHES ARE PART OF LIFE! OUR PROBLEMS JUST MIGHT OPEN THE DOOR TO A MIRACLE!

*PROBLEM: to agitate mentally or spiritually; something that is difficult to deal with; a source of trouble, worry, pain, disappointment; hard to understand; vexation; distress; to feel worried or upset; to disturb; cause pain;
