Lay Down Your Burdens

King David understood this when he wrote in agony to the Lord when his enemies were surrounding him!

Psalms 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Peter wrote to the leaders in the church and in the midst of telling them to beware of Satan’s lion like attacks he exclaimed!

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

But what did Jesus have to say about our burdens…after all he was the one who would bear them all on the tree!
