• That Pain Must Be Overcome By Love and Forgiveness!

John 8:1-12

This woman is caught in her sin. Her accusers are looking for blood, not only her own but they also want to kill Jesus!

John 8:5

“Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?”

John 8:7

“And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

John 8:10-11

“Jesus stood up and said to her, ‘Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?’ She said, ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”

James 2:13

“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.”

Luke 6:27-29

"But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either.”

Luke 6:30-31

“Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.”

“If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.”
