VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. One might even say that Levi who receives the tithes here

"A person might even say that Levi [the father of the priestly tribe] himself, who received tithes (the tenth),"

Hebrews 7:4 (Amplified Bible)

7:4 Now observe and consider how great [a personage] this was to whom even Abraham the patriarch gave a tenth [the topmost or the pick of the heap] of the spoils.

King Melchizedek is far more superior and greater than Abraham the patriarch and even much greater than Levi, the father of the tithes receiver, for both of them paid their tithes to King Melchizedek. Both priesthood and kingship are in King Melchizedek.

Genesis 14:20 (Amplified Bible)

14:20 And blessed, praised, and glorified be God Most High, Who has given your foes into your hand! And [Abram] gave him a tenth of all [he had taken].

B. Levi paid tithes to Melchizedek in Abraham

"paid tithes through Abraham,"

Hebrews 7:6 (Amplified Bible)

7:6 But this person who has not their Levitical ancestry received tithes from Abraham [himself] and blessed him who possessed the promises [of God].

Levi paid in Abraham his tithes to King Melchizedek, because Levi is still in the loins of Abraham at that time, even before the Law came because of Moses.

IX. CONCLUSION:

I am full time in bringing my tithes to the LORD JESUS CHRIST. As the LORD JESUS CHRIST receives my tithes, it will be increased infinitely to bless thousands.
