Summary: Embracing each day with purpose and joy, let us cherish the time we have and begin each morning with a heart filled with the love of Christ and a smile that reflects His light.

Our time on earth is but a fleeting moment compared to the eternity that awaits us. As the Psalmist says, “The length of our days is seventy years — or eighty if we have the strength” (Psalm 90:10). Our days are but a breath, a vapor that vanishes quickly.

But we know Eyernity is forever. Eternity is a weighty reality that should shape how we live today. As Jesus himself warned, “If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out” (Mark 9:43).

Let us not be deceived by the temptations of this world. Let us not be fooled by the lie that we have all the time in the world. Let us not waste our days on things that will fade away like grass, but instead store up treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy.

May we live with eternity in mind, knowing that life is short but eternity is forever. May we cherish every moment, using them to glorify God and share the Gospel with those around us. May we turn from sin and turn to Christ, who gave His life to save us from the fires of hell.

May God grant us wisdom to number our days and live with eternity in our hearts. Amen.
