Summary: Why not be a winner not a looser.
LOOK WHAT GOD HAS FOR US WHO SERVE HIM
Each and every one who does his best for the Lord will have a reward in the end.
We find in the new testament five crowns we can win. This is a promise of our Father.
These crowns show our qualities of accomplishments in our life time.
These will be given at the resurrection.
(1) The incorruptible crown.
1st Corinthians 9: 25And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
This is for self control
Maintaining it through their life
(2) The crown of life
1st Thessalonians 2: 19For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
Approved of God
Rightly dividing his word
In our lives
Sharing it with our fellow man.
(3) The crown of rejoicing
2nd Timothy 4: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Soul winner’s crown
Shared his word with others
Stood the test
Stayed in the battle
(4) The crown of Glory
James 1: 12Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Received as a leader of Gods people
Teaching his word
Preaching his word
(5) The crown of Righteousness
1The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
This is for all who except Christ
Born again believers
Those who love his appearing
Those who look for him
