Summary: There are many pretend to be godly men and women and appear to be solid Christian believer .However, their “fruit” eventually reveals them to be the opposite of what they claimed to be and they a form of godliness.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today, I want to warn you about a sobering reality: there are many who pretend to be godly men and women, appearing to be solid Christian believers, but their actions eventually reveal them to be the opposite of what they claimed to be. They may talk the talk, but their fruit betrays them.

This is nothing new, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. And his servants, too, masquerade as servants of righteousness. But their end will be what their actions deserve.

Let us not be deceived by appearances or smooth words. Let us examine fruit, not just profession. Let us test the spirits to see if they are from God.

May we be discerning, like the Bereans, and search the Scriptures daily to know the truth. May we not be swayed by false teachers or wolves in sheep's clothing.

Let us remember that a form of godliness without the power of genuine faith is deadly. Let us not be like those who profess to know God but deny Him by their actions.

Instead, may we be genuine followers of Christ, bearing fruit that comes from abiding in Him. May our lives be marked by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and other virtues that flow from a heart transformed by the Holy Spirit.

Let us heed this warning and be vigilant, lest we be led astray by false professors. May our eyes be opened to see the truth and our hearts be pure before God. Amen!

“And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).
