A discussion on the miracles that took place at the pool of Bethesda, emphasizing on faith and healing.

Introduction

There are times in life when no one is willing to help us. Even our own parents may abandon us, but in those moments, the Lord will take care of us. There are also times when those who want to help us may fail. They may try their best but still fall short. And there are situations where human help is simply not enough. In those moments, we need divine intervention.

Everyone experiences moments when they need divine intervention, and I believe God will intervene in our lives. In Luke 18:27, Jesus said that what is impossible with man is possible with God. And in Luke 1:37, it is written that nothing is impossible with God. So, declare with faith that your situation will not be impossible tonight. Trust that God will intervene.

Our Physical Life

In John 5:2-9, we read about a man who had been sick for thirty-eight years. He was lying by the pool of Bethesda, hoping to be healed when the water was stirred. But there was no one to help him into the pool, and others always got in before him. However, Jesus saw him and knew his condition. Jesus asked if he wanted to be made well, and the man explained his situation. Jesus then commanded him to rise, take up his bed, and walk. Immediately, the man was healed and able to walk. Jesus can heal anyone, regardless of their condition.

In Matthew 17:14-18, a man brought his son to the disciples for healing, but they were unable to help. Jesus, on the other hand, never fails. He set the boy free from his affliction. If you can attract the attention of Jesus, you will be the next one to testify.

In Matthew 8:1-3, we encounter a leper who was considered untouchable and incurable. No human being could heal him, but Jesus can do the impossible. Your family, friends, or even pastors may fail to help you, but Jesus will never fail.

Our Financial Life

In 2 Kings 4:1-7, we find the story of a destitute widow who was about to sell her two sons to pay off her debt. Her neighbors wanted to help, but they were poor themselves. She ran to Elisha, her pastor, but even he had no money to give her. However, God intervened and provided for her needs. God can supply everything we need, even when it seems impossible.

Our Marital Life

In 1 Samuel 1:4-20, we read about Hannah, a barren woman who desperately wanted a child. Her husband loved her and wanted to help, but he couldn't. The other wife in the household didn't want Hannah to have a child either. Even the priest, Eli, didn't understand her pain and mistook her prayers for drunkenness. But God intervened and granted Hannah's request. When nobody else can help, there is still someone who can do the impossible.

Our Spiritual Life

In Matthew 15:22-28, a woman brought her demon-possessed daughter to Jesus for deliverance. The disciples wanted to send her away, but Jesus saw her faith. He healed her daughter, showing that He can intervene in our spiritual lives as well.

Conclusion

If you need divine intervention in any area of your life, pray for it. Just like the blind man in Mark 10:46-52 who cried out to Jesus for mercy, call upon the Lord and ask Him to intervene in your situation. Remember that God is the one who can do the impossible. Trust in Him and believe that He will come through for you.
