Summary: Don't panic or be intimidated at the initial failure that you may encounter or the scarcity that you may see temporarily, keep pressing forward to reach abundance.

More is coming- Part 1

Genesis 26:18”Then Isaac dug again the wells of water which had been dug in the days of his father Abraham, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham; and he gave them the same names which his father had given them.”

I tell you I am super excited to share this illustration with you’ll, you should patiently read this initial portion of the sermon which would really add flavor as you keep reading further .For an urban woman living in cities with houses close to each other and crammed, when you suddenly get to live in an independent house with a garden, the joy has no bounds. When we moved in, there were few mango trees, lemon plants, papaya and a lot more but observe this, it looked bare and empty, it was not the season for fruits. The gentleman who rented the house to us gave clear instructions that he would rent the house provided we take care of the garden. What? Oh no, I was skeptical about it because this was now huge additional responsibility of cleaning and watering. Well, the immeasurable joy of praying and sitting in the cool garden was too priceless that we joyfully maintained the garden.

Now in the first week of March, small tender mangoes started growing, for people living in south India, these tender mangoes are very precious because they make pickle out of this. I tell you both my husband and I would run around the garden picking these tender mangoes like crazy kids, we would also distribute them to our school students and servants; however, we were never ready for what was coming…..I am too excited. Now among the mango trees, couple of them produced sour mangoes that is used for pickle and couple of them were sweet mango trees, so we were told. By April end, the trees were full of mangoes, our labor, hard work and efforts started bearing fruits. We now started free distribution of mangoes to our students, neighbors and friends, there was more and more coming. By May the sweet mangoes started ripening and when we ate them, they were honey-sweet and the best we had eaten so far. Now the harvest was profuse and there was an overflow; however, we sold none but freely distributed to our neighborhood.

It is so with life, we run for bitter tender mangoes not knowing that is able to give luscious, sweet mangoes in our life.

Zechariah 10: 1”Ask rain from the LORD at the time of the spring rain-- The LORD who makes the storm clouds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man.

Be it marriage, job, business, we are rashly hasty and we settle for substandard stuff in our life ignorant of the excellence that God has got stored for people who are obedient and God fearing.
