Summary: Encouragement of a closer walk in Christ

There is nothing more refreshing and invigorating than taking a plunge into the realm of praise and worship, lifting up the name of Jesus. When you love someone, you should tell them. That's a part of praise. When you love someone, you want to be close to them. It shows you value them. When you love someone, you want spend quality time with them. You want to share their vision and make it happen. That's all a part of praise and worship.

Exult His Name

We exult Him because we love Him. God is an awesome wonder. There will never be enough words to describe his omnipotence. Psalm 145:3 says,"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom."NIV. I totally feel inadequate to even attempt this blog, for I am not nearly close in describing the true attributes of my Lord. There is such a powerful, outstanding love He shared with us in Jesus. I am drawn to Him by His unfailing love and forgiveness He gave me. God knows I don't deserve it. Yet, constantly does our Lord shed His love so graciously. He's so wonderful.

Come Closer

Praise and worship draws us nearer to God. This how we enter into his presence. Psalm 100:4-5 says,"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise".KIV. Our senses begin to open when in the atmosphere of praise and worship. There is a sense of cleansing , a washing that is filled with power otherwise not experienced. We feel "strangely warmed", as John Wesley put it. Our hearts are filled joy.

Partnership With God

We can fellowship with God. It is one of the forms of communication God chooses to rely information to us. God tells us things we need to know. He alerts us through the Holy Spirit how to handle situations when we are in worship. God allows us to see things from His perspective when we pause long enough for Him to reveal his truths to us. It's an indescribable high that give purpose and direction to our lives. God share with us His plan for us because we are his friends and He chose to allow us to partner with Him.

Let us experience the joy of exulting Him name, coming closer to Him. In this way, we form a partnership with God who will to do exceedingly abundantly above all we are able to ask or think in and through us.
