Topic: PREACH JESUS NOT YOURSELF

John 8:13-14King James Version (KJV)

13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.

14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.

Beloved we have a duty to preach Jesus not ourselves. By practice and principle no man is to bear record of himself. Others are to testify about you.

By principle, any man who bears record of himself is a liar and is not worthy to be trusted and followed.

But a man who knows who he is, where he is coming from and where he is going and who his support is breaks this principle and stands tall amongst all even when he bears his own record.

Though you may not believe him, his testimony would stand the test of time and the manifestation to prove him would show.

When you know someone and he talks about himsel you know whether it's true or not but when you don't know him you doubt his words and may even think he is self conceited.

This is the problem the Pharisees had with Jesus in the scripture above. Beloved Jesus knows who He is and where He is from and knew He was telling the truth so there was nothing to be worried about.

Beloved we have a duty to bear the record of Jesus out there. We are His representations here on earth and have to sing Him to the world.

Yes we would use our experiences with Him and encounters we have with Him as examples and stories people should draw inspiration and hope from.

Beloved, be confident and know who you are, where you are from and where you are going. Don't let the challenges from men and their criticisms cause you to give up or stop the preaching of Jesus.

Just do as you have been sent to do by Jesus and let Him through His Precious Holy Spirit do the rest.

Don't be discouraged because people are questioning your source and how truthful your messages and testimonies are, just know who you are, where you are from and where you are going.

Know where you are going and who you are serving and know that the messages are not yours neither are the testimonies so just do as you have been asked to by Jesus.

Jesus didn't bother, He did as God directed Him to do so you too don't bother, do as He has directed you to do.

Beloved preach Jesus, don't be discouraged despite the challenges because no matter what *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and nothing else.

Prayer: Father please grant that with all boldness I will preach Your Word at all times not bothering about the criticisms and condemnation out there in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
