Psalm 126 "Daydream Believer"

John Stewart wrote a song entitled Daydream Believer, recorded by the Monkees.

"I remember going to bed thinking, 'What a wasted day, all I’ve done is daydream.'

And from there he wrote the whole song.

1. The Revelation Of The Dream -

His Person - 1 When the Lord

His Purpose - turned again -

AMP - When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion (Jerusalem),

His Power - the captivity of Zion,

His Perfection - we were like them that dream.

2. The Restoration Of The Dream -

It's Timing - 2 Then

It's Treasure - was our mouth filled with laughter,

It's Triumph - and our tongue with singing:

It's Testimony - then said they among the heathen,

It's Truth - The Lord hath done great things for them.

3. The Reflection Of The Dream -

The Source of Salvation - 3 The Lord

The Scope of Salvation - hath done great things

The Sense of Salvation - for us;

The Satisfaction of Salvation - whereof we are glad.

4. The Resolution Of The Dream -

The Prayer - 4 Turn again our captivity, (the remaining exiles) AMP

The Premise - O Lord, (The Same God can save others also)

The Promise - as the streams in the south.

5. The Recognition Of The Dream -

The People - 5 They

The Price - that sow in tears

The Prize - shall reap in joy.

6. The Remuneration Of The Dream -

The Restrictions - 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth,

AMP - He who goes back and forth weeping,

The Rigours

i. The Sower's Task - He that goeth forth

ii. The Sower's Tears - and weepeth

iii. The Sower's Trust - bearing precious seed,

iv. The Sower's Triumph -

6 shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

The Resources - bearing precious seed,

The Reassurances - shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

His Return - shall doubtless come again

His Rejoicing - with rejoicing,

His Riches - bringing his sheaves with him.

The Rewards - bringing his sheaves with him.

Those who go out carrying seed, will return carrying sheaves.

Matthew 25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

YLT `And his lord said to him, Well done, servant, good and faithful, over a few things thou wast faithful, over many things I will set thee; enter into the joy of thy lord.

The Comfort - And his lord said to him,

The Comment - Well done, servant,

The Commendation - good (In Character) and faithful (In Conduct)

The Comprehension - over a few things thou wast faithful,

The Commission - over many things I will set thee;

The Completion - enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
