The word "resolution" in Daniel Webster says that it is the quality of not allowing difficulties or opposition to affect one’s purpose.

Christians will resolute to diet, to exercise, to set new personal goals,and most do this in good will.

Remember that the Word says that we can do all things thru Christ who strengthens us. For with God all things are possible. If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. But without Faith, it is impossible to please God, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those that DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM!!!

1. Look at Your POSITION. vs.5-heritage

a. you are redeemed....by HIS blood, born again, forgiven, a Son of God...

b. you are royalty..1-peter 2:9...heb.2:11...1-john3:1-4

c. your residence...vs.4.....eph.1:6...phillip.3:20...heb.11:13...

2. Look at your PRACTICES...vs.5, vs.8..my vows...

a. practicing works...eph.2:9-10...matt.5:16...titus 3:8,14...

b. personal works...vs.8=my vows...phillip.2:12-14...your function in the Body of Christ...

c. pleasing works...1 peter.3:8-17....WWJD...

3. Look at your PLAN..vs.1=prayer, vs.4=your place, vs.8=your praise...

a. the purpose of the plan..."a resolution"...the quality of not allowing....", to shine, to speak, to serve, to soldier....

b. the power in your plan..thru prayer in vs.1-2, thru persistence... thru passion..vs.2 for love of or burden of...

c. the performing of your plan...vs.8=daily..vs.1-2=direction...vs.3=confidence...heb.11..noah moved...abram went...sara believed...moses made the choice to stay with the people of God...

On Dec.16,1999, Larry King ask G.W.Bush who made the biggest influence on His life, he said,"the Lord Jesus Christ". Who and What will it take for you to ACT in the Work the Lord Jesus has given you to do!!!
