We go through great lengths to buy and purchase Christmas gifts for loved ones. We will break the bank in order to get the perfect gift. We wouldn't dare give someone a used or broken gift or put those items under our Christmas tree, but those items could be found under the Cross.

When we were kids we played in the shallow end of the pool because we weren't physically prepared for the deep end. As we grew and learned how to swim and overcome our fear of the deep end we were able to final get in the waters. The same can be said of us in the spiritual.
