Summary: It's the goodness of God that draws people to Him. Not the madness of God, the anger of God or the disapproval of God.

Romans 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

o Romans 2:4 - It's the goodness of God that draws people to Him. Not the madness of God, the anger of God or the disapproval of God…

B. Like receiving a drink of water

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

B. WE have to choose life or death

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

20 loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."

C. WE need to choose a place to be taught and trained as a disciple.

I intend the following as, hopefully, constructive criticism. I wouldn't call this a sermon. It might the the start of a sermon. It's a lot of great verses and a few comments. It is an outline that covers a lot of ground. Is it aimed at someone who doesn't know about salvation? If so, it is a barrage of verses which could not be covered for a novice in a week of study. If it's for a believer, it covers too much, too briefly to teach beyond the plain reading of the verses.
