Summary: No matter what the world or life brings my way, I have an unshakable believing loyalty that God is with me, and my feet are on the rock of Christ.
Standing Strong
1 Kings 11:1-4 NIV
But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites— 2 from the nations of whom the LORD had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. 3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. 4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David.
Not loyal to the Lord – actually “His heart was not whole”
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Belt of Truth
Don’t allow anything to stay in our hearts that’s not truth.
Ephesians 4:25 NIV
“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”
Breastplate of Righteousness
I believe God is setting things right in the world because He has already set things right in my heart.
Feet fitted with Peace.
I’m at peace with God and I want to tell others they can have the same peace.
Shield of Faith
No matter what the world or life brings my way, I have an unshakable believing loyalty that God is with me, and my feet are on the rock of Christ.
Helmet of Salvation
I’ve been adopted in God’s family. I’ve been saved by grace and I will be kept by grace.
If we have the right identity, many of the weapons and schemes of the enemy are rendered useless.
Sword of the Spirit
“Scripture is God-breathed …”
Speaking Scripture is a powerful weapon.
Spoken Scripture is especially powerful when we believe it and when it has shaped us from the inside out.
