STOP, LOOK, LISTEN

Deut 6:25

25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us

These words can not only save lives but also souls.

Let’s look at these words more closely to see how that through their observance, they may mean more than what we realize.

STOP -To obstruct or block passage on (a road, for example).

To put an end to what one is doing;

Gal 6:7

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

deceive - To cause to believe what is not true; mislead.

Adam and Eve

Stop deceiving yourself. God has place laws concerning sin.

Eccl 8:11

11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Eccl 11:9

but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

Judas never took the time to stop, look, & listen, even though he was right there w/ Him, heard every word He said.

He got ran over and killed.

Eph 4:28

28 Let him that stole steal no more:

Stop your stealing. (Time, Money and certainly and material thing)

Stop taking God’s blessings and not giving back proper praise and gratitude.

Acts 13:10

pervert - To cause to turn away from what is right, proper, or good; corrupt.

How’s your behavior?

Phil 1:27

LOOK- 2 John 8

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Continue to press toward the mark, strive to enter in at the straight gate, stay the course.

Look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith.

Look to Jesus every day for He is your salvation.

Look to the hills which cometh your help.

Look upon the brazen serpent and you shall be saved.

Look at the book and it will keep you.

Look to Jesus and you won’t be run over and killed.

LISTEN-He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit has to say.

Luke 6:47-49

47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
