The ancient words of God, as recorded in the Bible, are not merely historical records or moral guidelines. They are the living and active words of God, breathed out by Him, and they hold a transformative power that transcends time and space. They are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago when they were first written. In a world that is constantly changing and evolving, these ancient words provide us with an unchanging source of strength, guidance, and hope.
Manual for life: The Bible is often referred to as the 'manual for life'. It contains timeless principles and truths that guide us in every aspect of our lives. Whether we are facing personal challenges, societal changes, or global crises, the Word of God remains a constant source of wisdom and strength. It provides us with a solid foundation upon which we can build our lives, regardless of the shifting sands of our circumstances.
King David: A man after God's own heart, David often expressed his reliance on God's Word for strength and guidance in the book of Psalm. In Psalm 119:105, he declares, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Regardless of the trials he faced, whether it was persecution from his enemies or the guilt of his own sins, David found strength and comfort in the Word of God.
