Trust is Faith in ACTION!!! It is the manifestation of our faith in our thoughts and actions. It is far easier to have faith in God; there are unbelievers who have this. It is a lot harder to exercise trust in Him...

Introduction

Today, we will explore the topic of trust and how it relates to our faith in God. Trust is not the same as faith; it is the active expression of our faith through our thoughts and actions. While it may be easier to have faith in God, it is much harder to exercise trust in Him. Trust requires us to put our complete weight on God, to rely on Him fully without leaning on our own understanding.

1. Confidence in God's Care (Proverbs 3:5)

Trusting in God means putting all our weight on Him, just like we trust a bed to support us when we sleep. We must have confidence in God's care and not lean on our own understanding. We should ask ourselves if God has ever given us a reason not to trust Him. By trusting in Him, we allow Him to guide us through life's uncertainties.

2. Commitment to God's Purpose (Proverbs 3:6)

Trusting in God requires us to acknowledge Him in all aspects of our lives. It means seeking His guidance and purpose in everything we do, whether it's in our relationships, work, or leisure activities. We must keep God in mind and align our actions with His will. Trusting God's purpose may not always make sense to us, but we must obey and trust Him nonetheless.

3. Being Controlled by God's Will (Psalm 32:8-10)

Trusting in God means surrendering control to Him and allowing Him to direct our paths. We bring our decisions and concerns to Him, and He guides us according to His perfect will. Just as a learner driver relinquishes control to their instructor, we must let God take the wheel of our lives. This level of trust requires us to do what He leads us to do, rather than relying on our own understanding.

Conclusion

Trusting in God's guidance is essential for a fulfilling and purposeful life. We can have confidence in His care, commit to His purpose, and allow Him to control our lives. When we trust in God, He guides us through the uncertainties and challenges we face. Let us remember that trust is not just a passive belief; it is an active expression of our faith in God. So, let us put our complete trust in Him and experience the transformative power of His guidance in our lives.
