TEN TRUTHS THAT WE CAN RELY UPON!
In this sermon outline wish to encourage you to be strong in the Lord and remember no matter what the world look like around you we are kept in the 'hollow of His hand'. With all the problems the World is facing, it can be unsettling to the mind. We share with you ten TRUTHS that are true and will continue to remain true!
1. The Bible still has all the answers.
John 5:39 (KJV) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
2. Prayer is still the most powerful thing on Earth.
1 John 5:14-15 (KJV) 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
3. The Holy Spirit will continue to move through the church and world.
Acts 4:31 (KJV) And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
4. God will honor the praises of His people.
1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
5. There will be God-anointed preaching until the day Jesus returns.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 (KJV) 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6. There will be singing of praise to God.
Colossians 3:16 (KJV) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
A. Let us join in!
7. God will continue to pour out blessings upon His people.
Joel 2:28-29 (KJV) 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
8. There will always be room at the Cross.
1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
9. Jesus will continue to love you and I unconditionally.
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
10. Jesus will still save the lost when they come to Him.
John 6:37 (KJV) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
A. He never turns anyone away that comes to Him in faith.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
