Thanksgiving

Summary: This is our Thanksgiving season for our nation, but we as Christians are to have a spirit of Thanksgiving at all times and for all things. But do we?
1. The 10 lepers, only one returned to give thanks. Luke 17:11-19
a. it's easy to give thanks when it looks like God has worked in our favor.
b. What about all the times it appears that God is not heard us?
2. Let me give another thought concerning being thankful.
a. A few years ago, I taught things worth being thankful for.

c. our friends

3. Have you ever considered things hard to be thankful for?

b. Glad is Greek Chairo which means to rejoice to be of good cheer.
1) Luke 15:32
2) John 20:20
c. It is a word the bible associates with tremendous joy.
d. One time that Jesus was glad is at the death of his friend.
