The Over-Looked Miracle

Ask if any play a sport? Talk about track runner, I knew a guy who freshman in college went for track and thought his coach was missing a few screws in his head b/c all the running they had to do the first day to try out, 20 minute run, 15 minute run jog the track for 5 minutes, pick-up 40 lb bags of sand and walk the bleachers, run some more, BREAK 2 hours, many not there any more then coach said run 2 back to back 10k’s which is 12.2 miles as running along he saw many drop out even taken off in stretchers shaking and stuff from dehydration, only he and one another person were left to finish the run that day, but over 50 guys started,

Many were called but that’s not a guarantee finish

You can be called and not know it

When you know it you may not choose to accept it

You may accept it you may not choose to finish

So what does this have to do with an over-looked miracle? I want you to touch someone and say im going to get blessed today! Lets go to col. 4:17 Say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it." Why, in this letter to the church at Collosae a huge mega church on the main road to Ephesus in the midst of all this stuff would paul take time out of this great letter at the very end IN HIS OWN HAND single out this guy archippus? I tell you : Archi lit means Horse Ruler, connotation to One who starts with zeal and power. Says NOTHING about finishing. Paul wouldn’t have wasted his time. He must have seen something in this man to tell him to take heed, and what does that mean it means to look or beware! It’s a strong cautioning! There was a ministry that God had designed him to fulfill

1. To fulfill means to utterly complete! To bring into actuality; effect: fulfilled their promises.

2. To carry out (an order, for example).

3. To measure up to; satisfy. See Synonyms at perform. See Synonyms at satisfy.

4. To bring to an end; complete.

Take a cup for example Paul was saying take heed pay attention WAKE UP ARCHI! God wants you to do something and you need to prepare for it so that you will finish the race the Bible says 1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but {only} one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. The prize for Archi was that ministry God had called him into to fulfill it but how do you prepare for the calling of the Lord on your life so that you will be able to fulfill it? You must watch what you are keeping in front of you. Are you lead by video games and that’s what you keep in front of you? Girls/Boys? Sports? Or do you have the Word in front of you? Ps 37:23

Many of you I believe God has placed miracles inside of you, some of you maybe come from homes that don’t encourage you don’t lift you up, they tear you down. They tell you what a pain and a problem you are. But I am here to tell you tonight that Jesus has made you a solution not a problem hallelujah!

Repeat col 4:17 so don’t be over looked by anyone else or yourself Jesus has a race for you to run and a track to run down
