TEXT:

"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who ask, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened" (Matt 7: 7-8 NLT).

INTRODUCTION:

There is a pre - eminent master key that opens the door to God's vault of blessings. Treasures are stored in well fortified strong rooms and you need a master key to gain access to the treasures. To access God's blessings, you need to pray (Matt 7:7).

It is the duty of man to pray. It is the pleasure of God to answer. The prayer of sinners God does not answer, except the prayer of repentance; but God delights in answering the prayer of the righteous (Prov.15:8). The Lord will answer your prayers with delight in Jesus name.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES

Paul and Silas prayed and praised God in their prison cell and God demostrated his delight by loosing their prison chains and those of other prisoners. The prison door was opened by prayer and praise. Their prayer of agreement broke the yoke of bondage and set them free (Acts 16:25). The Lord will arise as you call upon him and deliver you from every yoke of bondage in Jesus name.

The Church gathered together after Peter was imprisoned by Herod and prayed fervently. The Lord was delighted in their prayers and promptly set Peter free by sending an angel to open multiple gates and doors for his deliverance. The Church was astonished at the mighty deliverance (Acts 12:5-6). Your enemies will be left astonished at the wonders of God in your life this year in Jesus name.

Jacob wrestled with a divine personality when he was left alone to determine his destiny. He prayed and his name was changed from Jacob to Israel (Gen 32:24). Hezekiah was told to put his house in order as death was coming for him. But he prayed and wept sore before God. The Lord reversed the decision and the door of life was opened again unto him (2 Kings 20:1-3). Every pronouncement of death upon your life is reversed today in Jesus name. You shall not die but live. Hezekiah used the master key and God added 15years to his life.

Wicked King Ahab cried unto God in repentance and God answered him (1Kings 21:27). As you cry to God for mercy, the door of God's mercy will be flung open unto you in Jesus name. He will cleanse you with the blood of Jesus.

DOES GOD ANSWER ALL PRAYERS:

Sometimes, God does not answer when will cry to him. Our prayer maybe amiss or based on wrong motives. When our desires are not in line with God's will, he may choose not to answer us (James 4:3). It is God's prerogative to answer or not to answer.

Jesus prayed desperately with droplets of sweat like blood pouring from his glands, but God did not answer him. He allowed God's will to override his desires (Luke 23:41-44).

ANSWERS TO PRAYERS MAY ENCOUNTER DELAY

Daniel prayed but the answer was delayed for some weeks because Satan blocked the answer (Dan 10:23,30). Our answers to prayers maybe delayed for various reasons, but ultimately God will answer. We need to be patient after doing the right thing and wait for God's response (Heb. 20:36). The Lord will intervene and frustrate every principality and power attempting to delay the answers to your prayers in Jesus name.

HINDRANCES TO PRAYERS

When David prayed and fasted for the child conceived out of adultery, he met silence. God did not answer him. The child died (2 Sam 12:16). The will of God was done. Sin separates us from God. It is the only thing that will prevent God from answering our prayers, apart from unforgiveness and treating our wives dishonourably. David however repented with tears and God restored him. From that relationship, Solomon was born, who became one of the richest, wisest and most famous kings on earth.

CONCLUSION:

God will delight in answering your prayers in Jesus name. As you use the master key of prayer, God will open doors for you in Jesus name.

PRAYER: Father, let sin not be a hindrance to my prayers in Jesus name. As I ask, let me receive. When I seek, please let me find and when I knock, let doors be flung open unto me because you delight in the prayers of your saints in Jesus name.

DECREE: The Lord will delight in my prayers. He will answer me speedily and frustrate every Prince of Satan assigned to delay the answers to my prayers.

God bless your. Shalom.
