In a world that often prioritizes external beauty and outward appearances, it’s easy to forget what truly matters to God. But as 1 Peter 3:4 reminds us, it’s the inner beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit that is precious to God. We’ll explore what the Bible says about this unfading beauty and how we can cultivate it in our lives.
Peter writes, “You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God” (1 Peter 3:4). This verse reminds us that true beauty comes from within, and it’s not about external appearances or fleeting fashions. A gentle and quiet spirit is one that is humble, kind, and submissive to God’s will.
