Summary: The great controversy between God and Satan in a nutshell.

In the following verse, Babylon, meaning "confusion" is symbolic of religiously confused people who would live at the end of time when Jesus returns.

Revelation 18:4

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He is the express image of his person. and the brightness of his glory,

The LORD is sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train fills the temple. -, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: His name shall be called Emmanuel, The mighty God, The everlasting Father and The Prince of Peace.

And there appeared a wonder in heaven; there was war in heaven:, Michael and his angels fought against the devil the devils angels fought, and there were no place found for them. I beheld Satan fall from heaven like lightning, his tail drew a third part of the angels with him.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, She brought forth a Son, The dragon stood before her ready to devour her Child as soon as He was born.

rejoice, ye heavens Now is come salvation, the strength, the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ – he was foreordained before the foundation of world, to save those who are lost. when he had purged our sins, He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

God sent not his Son into the world not to condemn the but that the world through Him might be saved.

As he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him, saying, Tell us, what is the sign of thy coming, and the end of the world?

Jesus said, take heed that no man deceive you. Many false prophets shall rise, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these things are the beginning of sorrows, but the end is not yet. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and persecuted for my name's sake.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, stand in the holy place, making war with the saints through miracles and lying wonders Blaspheming God, know that the end is near, even at the door. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? We casted out devils and we did in thy name – and we did many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:(no relationship) depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But watch thou in all things, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry and endure afflictions Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in the kingdom of heaven. When ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. But the end it not yet.

Rev : I saw angels fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: Babylon is fallen, is fallen, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

And after these things I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: Let us be glad and rejoice, give honour to him: for the marriage supper of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
