David's Calm - 3:5,6 David's Inward Peace - v.5 I laid me down and slept; David's Upward Peace - 3:5 I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. David's Outward Peace - 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

David's Conqueror - 3:7,8 He Hears Our Earnest Plea - 3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: He Hits Our Enemies Pride - 3:7 for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; He Halts Our Evil Perpetrator - 3:7 thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. He Honours Our Eager Praise - 3:8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
