Truth – Holiness And The End Times

Summary: In these last day's we must examine ourselves frequently to make sure when Jesus comes back we are ready to go. Having a knowledge of all the END TIME events will not save us. It's how we serve the Lord that will assure our entrance into heaven.
Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV-BRG) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
It's one thing to hear truth and even to acknowledge that something is truth.
But it’s altogether a different thing for a particular truth to be in your spirit and ruling your life.
Truth
John 18:37-38 (KJV-BRG) Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
Pilate said, “What is truth?”
Philosophers have searched for truth all through the ages
Pilate, have never found it and he was quoting Plato
The concept of truth was a matter of discussion in many intellectual circles
Even in the last days, men will be “ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7)
But for those who sincerely desire the truth,
“the Spirit of Truth,” through “the Scripture of Truth”
It will lead them to the Lord Jesus, who is “the Truth”
John 14:6 (KJV-BRG) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 15:26 (KJV-BRG) But when the Comforter is come, Whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of me:
Daniel 10:21 (KJV-BRG) But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth:.
Is Jesus truth to you?
Have you faced the reality of His truth?
Is Truth ruling your life (Truth needs to Be in your spirit)
John 10:16 (KJV-BRG) And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
John 18:37 Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Matthew 23:27 (KJV-BRG) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
The Sanhedrin- scribes, Pharisees and Saducees were whited sepulchres
made clean the outside of cup and platter….
they were afraid of an outward defilement which might pervent them participating in the passover feast.
They thought nothing of the inward defilement of heart and conscience,
Justice, truth, righteousness, mercifulness,
the weightier matters of the law, were to them as nothing.
Purification:
In order for any of us to know God and develop a close relationship with Him
is the process of Purification or Sanctification
Ephesians 5:26 (KJV-BRG) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
John 17:17 (KJV-BRG) Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
1 Peter 3:15 (KJV-BRG) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV-BRG) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
The only way for you to become Holy is to get rid of what is Unholy.
That’s not easy, but necessary.
Once you allow God to work with you
Yield to His work
Allow Him to break you and deal with your old sin nature
There is no greater honor than to be a Christian.
The term “Christian” means to be a follower of Christ.
Some have labeled themselves “Christians” and then have been sinful in deeds or actions.
The United States calls itself a “Christian” nation.
That almost makes me ashamed to call myself a Christian.
Like I said, It’s an honor to be a Christian.
That name has been dishonored by people who call themselves Christians
when they are not Christians in their behavior and actions.
Real Christians are not only followers of Jesus
But they will also display His character and behavior.
