Summary: The only person in the whole universe was raised by himself from dead and never died again is Jesus! All the others were raised by someone's prayer but then later on, died again.

Wages of sin is death! Romans 6:23

1. WHY DEATH AND TOMB COULD NOT HOLD JESUS FOR MORE THAN 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS?

The reason behind is, Jesus was sinless, there is no sin in Him, death & tomb's can only hold the ones who had sinned and died. In the other words we can say the requirement to enter into death is sin which Jesus did not have. When a person enters into death and has not qualified to stay in death had to be sent back to life. Death has no authority to hold the person who had not fulfilled its requirement.

If Jesus has sinned even once, the death and tomb would happily hold him forever. But in His case death and tomb has proved that He has no sin by not able to hold him any further than 3 days and 3 nights.

Then how did death and tomb could hold him for 3 days and 3 nights?

Death and Tomb understood the order placed by the Master of the universe according to Matthew 12:40 which says, "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

Death and Tomb had no option but to obey the orders of the King of this universe!

Why wouldn't Death and Tomb hold Jesus more than 3 days and 3 nights?

Simply because they did not have permission to hold Jesus more than the time period ordered by Him!!

2. HOW CAN JESUS BEING "THE LIFE", ENTER INTO "DEATH"? John 14:6

Nothing is impossible to God!! He has the authority to give it and take it again.

John 10:18 says, "No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

So, Jesus had given His life away by His own choice and also got back to life again by His own authority. The death and tomb had to play their roles in this plan of God, they had no option.

The whips and the nails and the loss of blood would not bring death into Jesus's body until He gives it up by Himself, because He is "the Life". Luke 23:46

3. ONLY JESUS HAS THE DAY CALLED "RESURRECTION DAY"

Colossians 1:18 - And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the FIRST BORN FROM THE DEAD, that in all things He might have the preeminence.

We all have Birthdays and Death days, but only Jesus in the whole Human History has the "Resurrection Day"! Wow! (1 Corinthians 15:4, Mark 16:9). The whole world celebrates "Resurrection Day" only for Jesus, no one on this planet has this privilege to celebrate a day like this for themselves, because it is impossible for a human being to raise from dead by themselves and die no more.

- Many were raised from dead by Jesus like Lazarus, the widow's son and the Jair's daughter etc, but they died again in their future. In fact many men and women of God also raised people from dead, but they died again in their future.

But Jesus was not raised by anyone, He was raised from dead by Himself! John 10:17-18 – The Trinity is involved – God raised him – Acts 2:24 and many other scriptures, Romans 8:11 – The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus.

No one thought to pray for Jesus to come back to life, the disciples and the women who followed Jesus had completely forgotten His words about His resurrection. It was uncommon for a person to die and get back to life by himself, it never happened in the past. So they it was difficult for them to believe in the resurrection of Jesus, also the women came to the tomb to anoint Jesus' body. If they believe that Jesus would raise from dead, why would they bring spices?

Where were the disciples on the 3rd day? If they believed that Jesus would raise from dead, why weren't there near the tomb to see that great event? Whey were they got scared when Jesus appeared to them after resurrection?

All of these incidents prove that there was no prayer offered to God for Jesus to come back to life, He himself raised His own-self from dead.

4. HISTORICAL EVIDENCE FOR THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS:

• The Tomb is Empty - John 20:1-18

• Jesus appeared to His Disciples

- Acts 1:2 - to His Apostles

- John 20:19 - to disciples excluding Thomas

- John 20:26 - to Disciples including Thomas

- John 20:30 - did many signs which are not written in Bible
