Unity In Jesus

1 Corinthians 1:10-11 King James Version (KJV)

10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

Beloved, the Apostle Paul is asking the church at Corinth to be united. He is asking them to be of one purpose. Not just by words but in their thinking and in the execution of their thoughts.

He gave this advice when he was informed of the contentions in the Church.

Beloved, we today have contentions among Christians in same churches, different churches, communities, work places etc etc.

As the Church of Corinth was asked by the Apostle to:

1. Always be in agreement

2. Not create factions among them

3. Be perfectly joined together in the same:

a. Mind and

b. Judgement of things concerning the faith.

So should Christians today be united and act.

Beloved, the divisions and misunderstandings among Christians allows the devil to creep in and break us down.

Where there is no agreement of the minds and the hearts the things we pray for would delay whether we like it or not. We will disperse the flock. The Church will not grow and the effect of Jesus on us will be lost.

Beloved, if we all allow ourselves to agree and have singleness of purpose the Church we have today would be a true haven. A place for all to come and be comforted. A place of true peace of mind.

Beloved, *ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Let us stay united in Jesus to keep the Church as one family rather than breaking it down.

Prayer: Daddy please help the Church to stay united in Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
