Introduction:
A Just as manhood has become difficult to understand due to the attacks of feminism, machoism, male chauvinism, prolonged adolescence, knowing what biblical womanhood can be just as difficult to understand.
1 Some say true womanhood is casting off the chains of being bound to a husband.
a For others it’s climbing up the cooperate ladder, politics, or holding jobs that were once exclusively held by men.
b On the other side are those who see a stay-at-home wife (or mother) as the pinnacle of womanhood.
aa For some, womanhood is defined by not wearing fashionable clothes, hair styles, jewelry.
bb For others, having children (or how many children).
2 Woman will unsatisfactorily chase after an elusive identity/dream unless they embrace who God made them to be in accordance to His Word.
a God has intentionally made women different than men.
aa 1 Peter 3:7 (NASB) 7 You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
women are different than men both sexes need to understand this.
bb Yeah, I know you can have a baby . . . miracle of life
cc That’s cool, but who do call to open the jar of pickles? Can you bench 250? (Laugh, “That’s all I’m sayin.”)
b We’re different!!!! (Not just on an anatomical level either)
aa Women & men are wired different emotionally.
bb No amount of feminism, women’s liberation can change this simple, God established, Word supported fact . . . women are different than men. (Case closed.)

Genesis 1:27 (NASB) 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Psalm 139:13-16 (NASB) 13 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. 14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; 16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.
Ephesians 5:31-33 (NASB) 31 FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. 32 This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
aa Every woman is made in the image of God and is valuable to Him.
bb tall, short, thin, or all about that bass . . . ladies, you are worth something to God.
b God Gave You Your Gender:
Genesis 2:18-25 (NASB) 18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him." 19 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him. 21 So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23 The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man." 24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
Mark 10:6 (NASB) 6 "But from the beginning of creation, God MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE.
aa It’s not society, self-determination that makes you a woman (Mr. Jenner), your gender is rooted in how you are created by the Almighty.
