Summary: There is always something nagging at us and causing us to not worship wholey, what is it?

We all have problems in our lives.

Some are vocal about them and share with anyone and everyone that will listen.

Some air them out on Social Media for the entire world to see.

Some confide in a select few to share with.

Some just bottle them up and pretend like everything is perfect.

We’ve all got problems, every one of us.

Those problems can come from home life, work life, school life, church life, or a mix of all.

It might be your boyfriend, or girlfriend, or wife or husband or kids.

No matter who you are, no matter your age, not matter what, we all have problems.

My question to you this morning is this, “What’s your problem”?

We are 37 hours away from a brand-new year.

We are 133,200 seconds from 2019.

That’s 2,220 minutes until the ball drops and we get more new problems.

What’s your problem today?

I was reading some Billy Graham “Answers” the other day and ran across a good one.

Question: I'm about to give up on God. I've prayed and prayed for Him to take away my problems, but nothing has changed. Why doesn't God do something? I thought He was supposed to care about us.

Answer: God does care about us—far more than we will ever imagine. Even when we forget Him or ignore Him, He does not forget us or ignore us, because His love for us is everlasting. The Bible says, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 106:1).

Why, then, doesn’t He take our problems away when we ask Him? I’ve pondered this question most of my life, and to be honest I don’t have an answer that covers every situation. God sees the whole picture; we see only a part. Someday we will understand, when we see Jesus in heaven—but until then, the Bible says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

But I do know this: Often God answers our prayers not by taking our problems away, but by giving us the strength and wisdom to deal with them. Yes, when problems arise we all wish they’d just go away—but sometimes God wants us to turn to Him and instead ask Him for the strength to stand up under them. And when we do, He has promised to grant it.

May this be your experience as you turn your life over to Jesus Christ and trust your problems into His care. God loves you; He loves you so much that He sent His Son into the world to make you part of His family forever. Put your trust in Him today.

READ Galatians 2:20

All through the bible we see people with problems.

In the OT there are a few that come to mind.

Job had a problem with suffering

Moses had a problem with not feeling capable

Caleb had a problem with fear

Samson had a problem with being worldly

David had a problem with slander (among other things)

Jehoshaphat had a problem with anxiety

Elijah had a problem with depression

Jonah had a problem with being prejudice

Isaiah had a problem with guilt

Jeremiah had a problem with doubt

Haggai had a problem with materialism

Malachi had a problem with feeling unimportant

You see, no one is ever exempt from having problems, so what’s yours?

We can overcome anything that has us bogged down.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

I can do ALL things!!!

Our problems hinder us from being who God has made us to be.

It keeps us from being that dad, or mom.

It holds us back from being that husband or wife.

It stops us from being that brother or sister.

It prevents us from worshiping our Lord and Savior.

Our problems more than likely are tied to sin and any sin in your life will keep you from wholly worshipping Jesus.

He is the Only Begotten Son of God and He deserves every ounce of Praise we can squeeze out of this fleshly body.

Jesus can perform a great miracle in your life and solve all those problems you might have, if you’ll let Him.

There are 37 recorded miracles performed by Jesus alone in the Bible.

Brace yourself, here they come!
