Summary: The words of doubt or unbelief that our dead situations will not change and God’s promises will not be fulfilled are the whispers of the enemy. These whispers can come from our surroundings or even from our close friends. Social media is flooded with all this whispers of the enemy.

These days lot of Christians live a life of defeat or disappointment by believing the whispers of the enemy. Our situations in life may be dead or defeated. When our situations are dead and defeated, we easily believe the words of our surroundings or friends that situations are dead and will not change. The words of doubt or unbelief that our dead situations will not change and God’s promises will not be fulfilled are the whispers of the enemy. These whispers can come from our surroundings or even from our close friends. Social media is flooded with all this whispers of the enemy. The objective of these whispers is to create small doubts or unbelief about God’s purposes and plans.

The words are not big negative words regarding God or situations, but rather small words, just like a whisper. We can quickly recognise big negative words about God, but since these are subtle words, like a whisper, they are more difficult to recognise.

This generation is plagued with lot of whispers of the enemy. The enemy does not say many words against God, but only whispers small words of doubt in our ears. These whispers can be that the situation cannot change, it’s impossible for God, that the situation is already dead and so on. These whispers can create a lot of damage and even make us spiritually dead. These whispers may be one line in a small voice, but it can make us lose hope and peace. Lot of people remained in a spiritually dead position for years believing all these whispers of the enemy.

Even those who have been greatly blessed by God can lose their peace and joy when they hear the whispers of the enemy. The enemy steals all joy and peace with these whispers. Some individuals are greatly favoured by God, but when they hear this whispers, they are disturbed and tormented. These whispers of doubt or unbelief is Satan's most dangerous trap.

When Jairus's daughter died, Jesus was on his way to Jairus' house. Some people came from Jairus’s house and told Jairus, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” But when Jesus heard it, immediately he said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid, just believe". Its mentioned in the Bible, as soon as Jesus heard it, he responded very quickly to Jairus, saying, "Don't be afraid, just believe." Jesus was very quick to counter or respond to the whisper. In this circumstance, the people around Jairus said indirectly to him - "Your daughter is dead, and Jesus cannot resurrect her." If Jairus believed the whisper, his daughter would not be resurrected but dead. When Jesus heard the whisper, he instantly rebuked it with the verse "Don't be afraid, just believe." Jesus immediately responded to the whisper of the enemy. Even if you remain silent, you are allowing the whispers to take root. When Jesus heard the whisper, he did not remain silent; similarly, you must respond rather than remain silent.

Every day, the enemy injects lot of whispers into our lives. Every time you hear a whisper of unbelief or doubt, you need to counter or respond with faith in Jesus. We should not allow the seeds of whisper to take root in our life. We should respond to every whisper with a word of belief in Jesus. We need to believe that God will change the situation in spite of the situation being dead. When we hear a whisper of doubt, respond with a word of faith about Jesus. Only believe and you will see your miracle. Every whisper has to be countered with faith, otherwise you might lose peace and, in some cases, blessings.

The enemy steals the blessings by convincing people to believe the whispers. These whispers will steal your joy and happiness from the Lord. Despite having lot of blessings, many believers lost their joy and happiness as a result of believing these whispers. Lot of Christians have mountains of whispers which the accumulated for many years, agreeing that the situation is dead. We will lost so much when we believe these whispers. When Jairus would believe the words of his surroundings, then his daughter would never be resurrected. Even if situations or promises have been dead for many days or years, God still can resurrect them. His hand is still strong enough to restore all the years that locust have eaten with double, triple or tenfold blessings. Don't believe these whispers; if we do, we might lose our prized possessions.

Starting today, start a daily exercise, whenever you hear a whisper of doubt, respond with a word of faith in Jesus. Even if you hear a thousand whispers in a day, respond to each one line or word with belief in Jesus. Don’t let the whispers take root. Every Christian goes this struggle on a daily basis. Even if you ignore these whispers for one day, you will lose a lot of peace and joy.
