Why Did They Do That? (Part 2) Series

Summary: Believers are different than unbelievers; we need to deal with our sins and not make excuses for our mistakes, sins, and omissions.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts,
to dishonour their own bodies between themselves...
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:
for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature...
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind,
to do those things which are not convenient [not fitting].

What are some of the penalties of:
Eating that second piece of cake for dessert?
Staying up late to watch your favorite show?
Laying out in the sun an hour too long?
On the other hand, what happens when we:
Find we don’t miss much when we’re late?
Can talk our way out of getting in trouble?
Can successfully blame another for our mistakes?
Steps toward Gomorrah:
Excusing lust in any of its forms (24-25)
Using your body in ways God never intended (26-27)
Developing an evil disposition that results in evil deeds (29-31)
We must give God control over life now.
